The phrasing automatically pointed to this guy not being part of the setting like most, if not all, of the other vendors at the fair set-up. It didn't look like he'd sold too many flower arrangements; probably because he wasn't pushing them on people like that scary lady with her little yarn reindeer. He had three in his jacket pocket. He had been too afraid to say no.
“Uh, okay! Did you set up all the flowers at the festival?”
Leaning closer, he added in a whisper,
“It's blessed holiday.”
